I grew up in redondo beach , in the late 60′s i surfed malaga cove, turns out pirate ships would anchor there and visit the town of malaga cove above in palos verde.after a winter storm some one found 2 cannon barrels uncovered on the small beach possibly from one of magellans ships. i wish i knew this back then ,i would have spent a lot of time diving the cove. …
